Aloha People! I'm not sure if anybody heard of the aipono awards in maui but..... Its been going on for about 4 years. Its an award ceremony to celebrate all of the great chefs and restaurants on maui island. At this ceremony awards for "best mix plate" or "best place to eat with children" and also "best entree" are given out!  Pre-ceremony includes, a wine pairing, champagne station and top of the line pupus! This whole event was crazy! One of my boys Sheldon S. is a Executive chef at Aloha Mix Plate in lahaina took home three awards! Plus he was rockin the diamond Ethnic tee........
