I know i’m kinda late on this one but i still have to write it up.... Puka puka kitchen has the PERFECT katsu! Over the years L&L and several other local eateries has made the katsu plate something that you eat then go to sleep after.... you know...kanak attak.... So really you can’t eat this for lunch if you have to back work after...... But, puka puka kitchen which is located in downtown hilo next to dragon mama has come up with katsu solution.... Light, healthy, cheap and freakin tasty! Crispy chicken with a complimenting katsu sauce along with a garden decorated salad and miso vinegar dressing paired with a herb enhanced yellow rice(really i dunno whats in the rice but it still taste good...) now thats whats good!
