It’s been a solid week and a half since all of you readers seen any action on ethnicity….. I do apologize for the lack of posts. Mostly because the past month has been so busy that I haven’t downloaded photos to even post for my weekend recaps!

Aloha All!

So to finish off this #EatLocalHI week(Not that eating local is gonna stop or anything) we got a little somethin somethin for HILO! If you don’t know about #EatLocalHI reference the post below or visit KanuHawaii.com.

I’ve been doing events with this chef for at least 6 years….Kanoa Miura. He’s the head and founder of Aloha Mondays Inc which specializes in event catering. For every one of our events he would always bring some sort of new ingredient that was farmed by his uncles, braddahs, cousins, nephews friend in hamakuakohalawaimea. Anyways, to get to the point…. He’s always made it point to support local businesses and farmers so it was only proper to come to him to help us finish off this #EatLocalWeek with a boom.

This Saturday we will be having “#EatLocalHI w/ @alohAMondays”! Taking place in the Aloha Mondays Kitchen which should actually be called the “AM lab” because he be coming up with all kinds of awesome for your mouth….. It will be a five round dinner that will be chef’d up right in front of you while we serve local Vodka & Rum mixed drink goodness.

They just started to allow people to sign up for accounts…. You sign in with your twitter and facebook accounts and it will see what your friends like and what they have been reading. It compiles all of it into your own kind of Socially Sourced magazine.
